Wayne's Birthday

So the SEI paper "by land" really makes this gift bag, card and envelope look so good.  I wish I would have bought more, this is really great guy paper, it was on clearance on http://www.shopsei.com.  Car on the card was cut with Groovy Times, just left it plain like a shadow.  The "happy birthday" on the gift bag was cut with Birthday Bash and popped up with pop dots.

birthday bags

Never mind the junk in the background, just wanted to show the 2 gift bags I made for Eric's birthday.  Love using my scrapbook supplies for other projects.  Both are super easy.  I don't have written instructions for the big bag but here is a tutorial for the mini bag, it's so cute!

Party invite

A friend at work wanted to make invitations for her daughter's birthday party. Well, as soon as the Cricut lovers in the group heard that we immediately jumped at the chance to help. A group of us came up with these and we created them over a couple of lunch hours, it was really fun and they turned out pretty cute, too!

Weekend projects

I did find a little time to work on a couple of projects today. The card is made with PTI stamps, a total scrap lift from their gallery, I made a couple as I thought the deer was cute and the saying clever. The envelops were totally my creation, I am quite happy with them. I was inspired after looking at some new scrapbook paper by Canvas Corp that is Kraft with dark brown designs imprinted on them. I took a plain brown bag I received from a shopping trip and cut it into 2 -8" squares, stamped the squares randomly with chocolate chip ink using stamps by PTI, and folded them into these cute envelopes using my Martha Stewart score board. I have been making envies like crazy lately. Thought these were fun.

CHC bulletin board

So long since I have posted, not much crafting this summer I guess. Melissa and I finally got that bulletin board up today, wow, it looks pretty good if I do say so myself. Just a few more pictures to add.
